Damn… Missed like 30 mins of the show… Watched it at GV Vivo… There’s a 5:50 timeslot for the normal screen and 5:15 pm timeslot for the GV Max. I think the person heard me wrongly and bought the 5:15 tix for me. So imagine the shock when I arrived outside the cinema hall with nobody queuing whatsoever… I knew something was wrong… Then when I entered, movie oredi started… ()&$&*@# &*&%*(# ^$%(#&*%%^$ *&#$&*%#*(%&
I feel so pissed with myself… Then saw Zhao Yun rescuing Liu Bei’s baby son. There’s alot of inaccuracies between the movie and historical facts… I spot quite a number and was very sian… Why some ppl just wont follow the history books… Anyway, I chose to stop linking the movie with the history in order to enjoy the movie. Just watch it for what it is. For those who do not know any history of Three Kingdoms, it is a good movie. For those who know… You’ll probably get pissed off. Overall, the movie is great with the battle scenes, the battle formations and the usual “Dynasty Warrior” fighting style. Which means one general can go out there and kill like 100 troops without breaking a sweat and still look as if they can handle 100 more. Sheesh…
One thing I don’t like about the movie is Lin Chiling. Her voice is just…. unsuitable for the movie. Maybe I’m just biased as I never like her kinda 娃娃 voice, I hate women with dat kinda voice… And also I feel that casting Takeshi Kaneshiro as 诸葛亮 is a bad choice… (I know alot of women will hate me for saying this) But he doesn’t have that aura or look of a genius battle strategist because he looked too damn handsome (seriously) and I feel that 曹操 is too thin. I’m not saying he should be fat but he should have that 霸气 as we normally will portray him to be. Lastly, 周瑜 looked too old…
Overall, I will give it a 3.5/5 stars rating. I still prefer the china drama series as it follows the history books closer than the movie.
