Just a few months back I read a book on brand failures. This time round I read “Brand Royalty: How the World’s Top 100 Brands Thrive & Survive” by the same author, Matt Haig.
I’ve heard, seen and even bought products from some of the brands mentioned in the book. The author categorised the brands accordingly to their specialities and strengths. The format and style of the book is the same as his previous publication.
Again, the book does not cover the success of the brands in detail. But it is a good source of information for those doing school research. You can pick up the brands that best suit your research specifications and do more research through other books.
Personally, I am not all that fasinated by successes because everyone will mention it in one way or the other.
wow… you’re a big reader… In my freetime, i always read something like novel or manga, once in a while some topics that interest me; e.g. travelling, technology, cultures, cooking, languages, etc. hum.. but for the business stuff, normally i read it when I wrote an essay for my business class.
I’m not exactly a big reader as what you said. It’s just another activity for me to do. I liked reading business related stuff to have an insight on how some companies conduct their businesses to make a profit out of it. So far… I feel that almost ALL consumer based companies are working on an unethical basis. Especially marketing and advertisements…
Somehow I feel that the more I read, the more disgusted I am with human beings… Maybe Keanu Reeves was right in planning to wipe out humans to save Earth. LoL!
