Recently, I’ve been introduced to this thing called “Bucket List” I think it’s popularly referred to the list of things you want to do before you kick the bucket i.e die. It sounds slightly morbid and yet inspirational. Morbid because you are aware of your own mortality and wishes to do ths things you wanna do when you still have the chance. Inspirational because you really wanna do the list of things you said you want to.

There was a movie in 2007 named, “The Bucket List” acted by Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman. Talks about two terminally ill men who goes to do a list of things they wrote on a bucket list. For more details, go read it yourself as I am not a kind person who spoon-feeds people too lazy to click another link.
I think at one or many points in your life, you said to yourself, “I want to do blah blah blah in my life” so as not to have any regrets. No, I don’t mean the “I want to find a cure for cancer” that kind of ambitious list. More of like, “I want to walk for a kilometre on the Great Wall of China in this lifetime” or “I wanna learn to play the guitar” or “I wanna do sky diving”. Although I am not sure if “earning a million dollars before I am 30 years old” actually count as an item on the bucket list but I guess it can be since it’s a very personal thing.
Anyway, moving along… I seem to lost sight of my own bucket list. Which I think actually contributes to my disdain view on life. I think life is shit and alot of things actually proves this to be true. I don’t find anything beautiful in life. And no, you cannot say I am wrong because let’s face the facts, human beings are the virus of this world. We loot and plunder the natural resources given to us and yet we exploit more. We harm the environment and kill animals and so many other lifeforms that if a being higher than us looks at us, it will view us as a virus, a curse, a useless parasite. Well, that’s my honest opinion on ourselves. Oh no, I am not saying I am different from the rest, I am just like everyone else.
Forgive me, I digress. Back to the bucket list, I think I should work on fulfilling my own bucket list so as to give some sort of meaning to my life. So I urge you guys to do the same too. Do the things you want to do before you kick the bucket. It’s is never too late to do something as long as you are still alive. Don’t say things like “I wanna do this when I am still young” and cram everything in your youth. You might suffer from burn out.
Last but not the least, take a look at this site. People all over the world are sharing their bucket list.
